Referrals

Your General Practitioner can provide you with a referral for a Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment to see me which will give you access to a Medicare Rebate for the assessment.

Medicare only recognizes a referral as valid for 12 months at a time.

Fees

There is an out-of-pocket fee for appointments.

Initial appointments are usually 1 hour in duration - Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment.

Home Visit: Fee $650.00. Medicare Rebate (85%) 552.40. Out of pocket $97.60.

Review appointments are approximately 30 minutes in duration.

Home Visit: Charge $200.
- Out of pocket cost varies depending on item number billed. Approximately $90-120.00

Residential Aged Care Home visits are usually bulk billed.
